The BL-2 is a breeding box designed to raise young fish. In addition to being perfect for separating young fish, these breeding boxes can also be used for breeding and crossbreeding shrimp and livebearing fish. The BL-2 features 2 integrated stainless steel mesh panels on the sides, ensuring a steady supply of fresh and oxygen-rich water, leading to faster growth and better coloration of the fish. The mesh panels are fine enough to prevent shrimp from escaping.

On the side of the box, there is an external air inlet that allows you to create additional flow within the breeding box. The BL-2 is ideal for raising species where it is crucial to monitor the feeding habits of the young fish. Additionally, there is always a minimum of 1 cm of water in the BL-2, ensuring that your fish never dry out. The water circulation system ensures constant water exchange within the BL-2. This ensures that the water in the breeding box maintains the same temperature and water parameters as the aquarium, eliminating the need for acclimatization before introducing the fish to the breeding box. The BL-2 comes with two hanging systems.

Ziss Aqua breeding boxes are available in 3 different variants, with the numbers following “BL” and “GL” indicating the number of stainless steel mesh panels. In the GL-1, the bottom is made of stainless steel, in the BL-2 the sides are, and in the BL-3, both the bottom and the 2 sides are made of stainless steel mesh. The more mesh panels, the more fresh water enters the breeding box, promoting fish growth.
