Cavity Stones

Ceramic Nature makes the cavity stones by hand in 3 different sizes:

• Cavity stone Xsmall: 12 x 5 x 5 cm
• Cavity stone Small: 15 x 6.5 x 5 cm
• Cavity stone Medium: 20 x 8 x 6 cm

The cavity stone caves are handmade in our own workshop in the Netherlands. All Ceramic Nature cavity stones are made of white ceramic, which is safe for humans, animals, and nature. They are available in 3 different sizes and have a white-grey colour. They have different deformations and a stone-like structure, with a smooth inside but bumps for a natural effect on the outside. Because we make everything by hand, each cavity stone is unique.

Aquarium

Cavity stone caves are the ideal decoration in aquariums with grey, white, and basalt-coloured stones. Their natural-looking stone appearance makes them blend in nicely with real stones. Apart from their beautiful appearance, cavity stones can also be used for breeding L-numbers, smaller catfish, and crayfish.

For breeding L-numbers, we recommend using several shapes and sizes so that the L-numbers can choose which they like best. Besides cavity stone caves, we also have rectangular laying caves, D-shape laying caves, triangle laying caves, XXL laying caves, and catfish caves. L-numbers will choose a burrow not much bigger than themselves, so take this into account when buying. Also, try to place the laying burrows in different flow directions, as the fish will appreciate this. If you don't want to breed fish, burrows are also very fine hiding places for botias, large crayfish, large shrimps, catfish, etc.

L-numbers

• The xsmall caves are suitable for small L-numbers up to 13 cm, such as Bristlenose Ancistrus, L002, L015, L046, L104, L129, L340, L400, L411, etc.
• The small caves are suitable for L-numbers up to 16 cm, such as L046, L102, L129, L136, L144, L181, L199, L201, L236, L260, L262, and L397.
• The medium caves are suitable for breeding L-numbers up to 21 cm, such as L066, L070, L144, L201, L204, and L333.

Terrarium

Cavity stones can also be used as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians such as frogs and geckos. As they are made of ceramic, you can also use them perfectly as a damp cave.

Durable Ceramics

Our ceramics are 100% safe for humans, animals, and the environment. The caves have a long lifespan and are handmade of ceramic. As the colour is ingrained in the clay, the colour will never disappear. This also makes the caves easy to clean. Cleaning is easy with a soft sponge and warm water.
