The Horse-Heads
Ceramic Nature makes the horse heads by hand in 5 different sizes:

Horse heads are the ideal hiding place for aquariums and terrariums. They are handmade in the Netherlands and are available in 5 different sizes. The structure of the horse head is copied by Ceramic Nature from trees found in nature. Because we make everything by hand, every horse head is unique. The inside is smooth, and the outside of the horse head has a tree trunk structure with several lumps and holes.
Because the design of the horse head is partially closed, your animal feels safe, but because of the small holes, you can still enjoy it.
Aquarium
The horse heads fit any aquarium and can be perfectly combined with real wood. Besides having a beautiful look, they can be used as hiding places for botias, catfish, crayfish, corydoras, and other fish species. We always recommend creating enough hiding places in the aquarium so that the animals feel comfortable.
Furthermore, you can also line the horse heads with different types of plants and moss species such as java moss or anubias. For this, use aquarium glue or fishing line to secure the plant to the logs for the first few weeks. After this, the plant will grow into the ornament. The horse heads will also work in the aquarium as a biological filter since the structure of the ceramic is porous. The micro-cavities are home to numerous bacteria that use biodegradation to rid the aquarium water of harmful substances. All in all, a great product!
Terrarium
Horse heads are widely used as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians such as frogs, geckos, bearded dragons, snakes, etc. Because they are made of ceramic, you can also use them perfectly as a moist cave or warm cave. This is because the ceramic is porous and therefore holds heat or moisture well.
