The filter has been used in professional breeding facilities for years and is also known as the ‘Moving Bed Filter’. This name indicates that the filter media continuously have moved past each other, resulting in even better filtration efficiency. The ZB-300 filter provides natural processing of waste substances in the water, converting substances such as ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite in a biological manner. The large amounts of all the air pumped into the filter facilitate the degassing of these waste substances.

In this way, the ZB-300 filter ensures that the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) values remain low. These values beter ​​indicate the amount of oxygen needed to break down organic waste particles present in the aquarium. The lower these values ​​are, the cleaner the water in the aquarium. The operation of this filter results in a significant delay in algae formation, keeping the aquarium extra clean!
