CeramicNature crafts cavity stones by hand in 3 different sizes.

The cavity stone caves are handmade in our own workshop in the Netherlands. All CeramicNature cavity stones are made of white ceramic, which is safe for humans, animals, and the environment. They are available in 3 different sizes and have a white-gray color. They feature various deformations and a rocky structure, with the interior having a smooth texture but with bumps incorporated for a natural effect on the exterior. Because we handcraft everything, each cavity stone is unique.

Aquarium

The cavity stone caves are the ideal decoration in aquariums with gray, white, and basalt-colored stones. Their lifelike stone appearance makes them blend beautifully among real stones. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, cavity stones can also be used in the breeding of L-numbers, smaller catfish, and crayfish.

For breeding L-numbers, we recommend using multiple shapes and sizes so that the L-numbers can choose the one they prefer. In addition to cavity stone caves, we also offer rectangular caves, D-shaped caves, triangular caves, XXL caves, and catfish caves. L-numbers will choose a cave that is not much larger than themselves, so keep this in mind when purchasing. Try placing the caves in different flow directions, which the fish will appreciate. If you’re not breeding fish, caves are also excellent hiding spots for, among others, loaches, large crayfish, large shrimp, catfish, etc.

L-numbers

• Xsmall caves are suitable for small L-numbers up to 13cm, such as the Bristlenose Ancistrus, L002, L015, L046, L104, L129, L340, L400, L411, etc.
• Small caves are suitable for L-numbers up to 16 cm, such as the L046, L102, L129, L136, L144, L181, L199, L201, L236, L260, L262, and L397.
• Medium caves are suitable for breeding L-numbers up to 21 cm, such as the L066, L070, L144, L201, L204, and L333.

Terrarium

Cavity stones can also be used as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians such as frogs and geckos. Because they are made of ceramic, they can also be perfectly used as moist caves.

Sustainable ceramic

Our ceramic is 100% safe for humans, animals, and the environment. The caves have a long lifespan and are handmade from ceramic. Because the color is baked into the clay, the color will never fade. This makes the caves easy to clean as well. Cleaning can easily be done with a soft sponge and warm water.
