The fossil stones are handmade in our own studio in the Netherlands. All CeramicNature fossil stones are made of white ceramic, which is safe for humans, animals, and the environment. They are available in 3 different sizes and have a white-gray color. The top of the fossil stone has a beautiful fossil pattern.

Aquarium

The white stones are the ideal decoration in aquariums with gray, white, and basalt-colored stones. With their lifelike stone appearance, they blend nicely among the real stones. The colors also match well with our gray backgrounds. The fossil stones are also suitable as hiding places for loaches, catfish, crayfish, and other fish species.

Furthermore, you can also cover them with various types of plants and mosses such as java moss or anubias. Use aquarium glue or fishing line to attach the plant to the ceramic for the first few weeks. After this, the plant will grow attached to the ornament. The ceramic decorations will also act as a biological filter in the aquarium as the structure of the ceramic is porous. Numerous bacteria nest in the micro-cavities and through biological breakdown remove harmful substances from the aquarium water. All in all, a great product!

Terrarium

Originally, the caves were created for terrarium use. The fossil stone is a replica of a real fossil and can be used as a hiding place for reptiles and amphibians such as frogs, geckos, bearded dragons, snakes, etc. Because they are made of ceramic, you can also use them perfectly as a moist cave or warm cave. The ceramic is porous and therefore retains heat or moisture well.

Sustainable ceramic

Our ceramics are 100% safe for humans, animals, and the environment. The fossil stones have a long lifespan and are handcrafted from ceramic. Because the color is baked into the clay, the color will never fade. This also makes them easy to clean. Cleaning can easily be done with a soft sponge and warm water.
